My clock has been offline regularly - what to do?Updated 2 months ago
If you're experiencing connectivity problems with your clock, follow these simple steps to resolve the issue.
Step 1: Relocate Your Clock
First, try moving your clock to a different location in the house.
- If your clock uses WiFi connectivity, place it closer to your modem or router. This can significantly improve the signal strength and stability of the connection.
- If your clock uses data, change the location as cellular data reception might be different in different areas in your home
Step 2: Wait 72 Hours
After repositioning your clock, allow up to 72 hours for the connection to stabilize. Sometimes it takes time for the device to fully reconnect and synchronize with the network.
Step 3: Try the Alternative Connection Method
If the problem persists after 72 hours, switch to the alternative connectivity method:
- If currently using WiFi: Switch to subscription-based connectivity (see your app for details)
- If currently using subscription: Switch to WiFi connectivity
Changing the connection type can often resolve persistent connectivity issues, as different methods may work better depending on your location and network conditions.
