How to Update the Idem AppUpdated 3 days ago
If a new feature isn't showing up in your Idem app, you likely need to update to the latest version.
Follow these step-by-step instructions to get the latest update.
For iPhone (Apple)
Step 1: Find and open the App Store
Look for the App Store icon on your home screen - it's a blue square with a white "A"
If it is not there you can search for it by swiping down and typing “App Store”
Once you find it, tap once to open it
Step 2: Go to your account page
Look at the top-right corner of your screen
You'll see either your profile picture or a circle with your initials
Tap on this once
Step 3: Find Idem in your app list
Scroll down with your finger until you see a section that says "Available Updates" or "Update"
Look through the list for Idem or use the search function
If you see Idem listed here, there's an update ready for you
Step 4: Update Idem
Next to the Idem app, you'll see a blue button that says Update
Tap this button once
The button will change to show a circle that fills up as the update downloads
Wait until it says "Open" - this means the update is complete (this usually takes 1-3 minutes depending on your internet speed)
Step 5: Open Idem
Find the Idem app on your home screen and tap it to open
The new feature should now be available
If Idem doesn't appear in your update list:
This means your app is already up to date. Try these steps:
Close the Idem app completely (swipe up from the bottom and swipe the Idem card away)
Open Idem again
If the feature still doesn't appear, contact our support team

Android phones can look different depending on your device manufacturer (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.), but these steps work for all of them.

Look for an option that says "Manage apps & device" (on newer versions) or "My apps & games" (on older versions)
Tap on this option

Tap on "Updates available" or look for a tab that says "Updates"
Scroll through the list to find Idem
Step 5: Update Idem

Helpful Tips
Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi:
Updates download much faster on Wi-Fi than on your mobile data
Go to Settings and make sure Wi-Fi is turned on and connected
Check your storage space:
If your phone is nearly full, the update might not download
Go to Settings > Storage to see if you have space (you need at least 500 MB free)
If needed, delete old photos or apps you don't use anymore
Try restarting your phone:
Sometimes a simple restart fixes update problems
Press and hold the power button, then tap "Restart" or "Power off"
Wait 30 seconds and turn it back on
