Connecting your Idem Smart Clock to the internet is essential for receiving updates, messages, and reminders. Depending on your preference and setup, you can connect via Wi-Fi or a mobile connection.

The steps to follow depend on whether you're connecting for the first time or switching your clock to a new Wi-Fi network.

Connecting for the first time

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Plug your Idem Smart Clock into a power outlet.
  2. On the clock, with your finger, swipe from the right to the left. This should bring you to the menu.
  3. At the very top, in Network section Tap "Not configured"
  4. Next to the network name click "Select"
  5. Enter the password, click "Save"
  6. Wait until you see the word "Connected" under the Wi-Fi icon (it should become green)
  7. Click "Close"




Moving the clock to a new Wi-Fi

If the clock was previously connected to another Wi-Fi network, and you are trying to connect it to another, second Wi-FI, follow these steps.

Forgetting the first Wi-Fi:

  1. Plug your Idem Smart Clock into a power outlet.
  2. On the clock, with your finger, swipe from the right to the left. This should bring you to the menu.
  3. At the very top, in Network section Tap “Configured” 
  4. Click "Forget this network" to erase the previous Wi-Fi
  5. Click "Yes" 

Configuring the new Wi-Fi:

  1. Plug your Idem Smart Clock into a power outlet.
  2. On the clock, with your finger, swipe from the right to the left. This should bring you to the menu.
  3. At the very top, in Network section Tap "Not configured"
  4. Next to the network name click "Select"
  5. Enter the password, click "Save"
  6. Wait until you see the word "Connected" under the Wi-Fi icon (it should become green)
  7. Click "Close"




Additional Tips:

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and has a strong signal where the clock is placed.
  • If you encounter connectivity issues, try restarting both the clock and your router.
