Accessing the Idem Companion App Outside Canada and the United StatesUpdated a day ago

At the moment, the clock is only distributed in Canada and the United States. While we would sincerely like to make Idem available internationally, and this is part of our long-term expansion plans, the mobile app is for now only accessible through the app stores of those two countries. That said, once the app has been downloaded on your smartphone, it can be used seamlessly from anywhere in the world

However, there are unofficial work-arounds for customers whose app store is another country than Canada and the United States:

If using an Apple device (iPhone, iPad):
Simply change the location in the settings of the mobile device to Canada or the US, download the Idem companion app, then switch back the location to your original location.

If using Android, it's more complicated.
You need a Google account associated with a physical address in Canada or the US. This address can only be changed once every 12 months, so be careful modifying this for your main Google account. Our suggestion would be to create a new Google account linked to a Canadian or American address, connect to this account via your Play Store, then download the Idem companion app. Once it has been downloaded, your can switch back to their original Google account in the Play Store.
